You’ll work on backend systems that prioritize performance, observability, and long-term maintainability.

What you’ll do

  • Build and evolve backend services using Ruby on Rails
  • Design scalable APIs and data models
  • Work closely with DevOps on deployment and monitoring
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to architecture discussions

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of backend development experience
  • Strong Ruby and Rails background
  • Experience with distributed systems and production environments
  • Solid knowledge of SQL databases
  • Ability to work across teams and lead initiatives

Nice to have

  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
  • Prior work on high-traffic systems
